Starting at $10, this feature allows you to design a gravestone that is rooted in real history.
Every carving offered here is taken directly from actual gravestone rubbings and documented historic markers. The lettering styles, epitaph layouts, and decorative motifs are carefully recreated from real 18th and 19th century headstones. Nothing is generic or made up to “look old.” Each design element is based on authentic historical examples.
Start with your size, shape, color, and even customize your font, symbol, or carving style. Know you are selecting a faithful reproduction of something that once existed in a cemetery. From willow and urn motifs to traditional memorial inscriptions, these details have been studied and recreated to preserve their original character.
Can't stake into a yard or grass? No problem, select to have a gravestone base added that can hold weights from the back. You may also select surface aging finishes, including moss and lichen effects, to add realistic weathering and depth. These finishes are designed to enhance the historical appearance, giving the stone the look of natural aging over time.
